Reopening Weekend: Community Events

Everyone is invited to join us for a fun and FREE afternoon on Saturday, Sept. 30. Families will love the Community Day from 1-4 p.m., with art activity tents, Park tours, a fabric play space, a soccer clinic, a performance activity by City in Motion Dance Company and more! Bring a picnic and enjoy the return of Shuttlecock Cinema featuring The Incredibles, beginning at 8 p.m.

Public Community Day
1-4 p.m.

The Sculpture Park officially reopens with an afternoon of wonderful events and activities for the entire family! Have fun inside the whimsical FabricAction play space created by Pink Inc. All activities are made possible by the generosity of the Hall Family Foundation.

1-4 p.m. Art activity tents, special family tours and free cookies!
1-2:30 p.m. Rockhurst University soccer clinic for kids 12 and under
3 p.m. Performance activity by City in Motion Dance Company

Shuttlecock Lounge presented by SPACES Magazine
Main Event Tent
5-8 p.m.

Party in the Shuttlecock Lounge tent with DJ Jon NuSkool from 96.5 the BUZZ. Drink and food tickets will be available for purchase at the tent. You must be 21 to attend.

The Incredibles
Movie on the Lawn, 8 p.m.

Bring your picnic and a blanket for the Incredibles, an Academy Award winning animated feature film. Watch as Mr. Incredible and his super-hero family come together to save the world in this delightfully funny, family movie.
