Stanley Hess:

Dear friends,
I spent many wonderful years as librarian of the Museum's Spencer Art Reference Library. That was a period of great growth and transition. I hope that someone might share with me some information/pictures/floor plans of this new area as well as share what is the new role for the old library space... the reading room and the below ground stack area.

Wishing you all the greatest success in your expanded facilities and collections. It sounds glorious.

Sincerely,

Stanley Hess
former Spencer Art Referece Librarian
