An era of the most lavish and ornate in the history of art, Baroque and Rococo styles vary from country to country. Learn about how the influence of the Counter Reformation and the development of the art market in the Netherlands affected the art throughout Europe.

This series of tours in the Museum’s newly reinstalled galleries provides visitors an opportunity to discover the evolution of European art and to explore how cultural, social, political and economic factors contributed to the artistic styles. Painting, sculpture and decorative arts will be covered.
