A Tactile Tour for the Visually Impared: Contemporary Interpretations

The tour is only available to organizations and groups bringing blind and visually-impaired visitors.

Spend time with Contemporary Art! After an introduction and orientation in a classroom, participants will visit three galleries and discover sculpture by touching them with gloved hands. Considering aspects such as materials and style, visitors will engage in a lively exploration of contemporary art and will draw on personal ideas and experiences to make meaning.
