My photography depicts the sense of isolation individuals experience in modern society. My more recent images fall under the theme of self-deprivation. Within these pictures, I include a timeless figure who is perceived as unapproachable, often wearing metaphorical masks, created with objects found in the natural environment. I want the viewer to develop a story for the subject’s identity, connecting more with their own personal lives. Each image expresses a vulnerability we as humans have, as if the subject is strong, only held together by a weak thread.
