Madi Hoffman
My work represents juxtaposition, dichotomy and the complexity of discovering your true self. Discovering who you truly are is the most difficult thing a person does in life, and the contrast of appearances throughout my work expresses that. At times we are happy, while at other times we can be angry, depressed, or upset. My work represents life and all of its ups and downs. No person is going to be happy all of the time; the opposite is true as well, no person can be unhappy all of the time. There is always some form of hope in the world—we just have to be aware of it. |
