New Dimensions

Perla Aguirre

In our world today, nature is not as abundant as it was many years ago. Mankind has throughout the years destroyed much of it. So through my work I like to take people to a natural fantasy world. My photographs are places in nature that are not easily found, but are exquisite and breath-taking to most. It is almost like a far-out spiritual world that meets the lines of reincarnation and explains that spirits can be reborn in many living creatures. My focus in doing these pieces was to explore death and rebirth through nature and the female figure. The animal print on my work illustrates the living creatures that live in nature all among us. I like to think of my work as a reflection of the beginning and the end to life.
