This tour is perfect for teachers looking to introduce their students to the museum, or who wish to have an overview of selected collections. Through student-driven activities, participants won’t just look at art-- they’ll write, draw, talk about and investigate the objects around them! Through the facilitation of open-ended conversations, docents will enable students to make personal connections to art at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
This tour is available in two iterations: Secondary Impressions-A and Secondary Impressions-B.
Secondary Impressions-A takes place in the Nelson-Atkins Building where students will experience European, American and Asian art.
-Southeast Asian Art
