This tour is perfect for teachers looking to introduce their students to the museum, or who wish to have an overview of selected collections. Through student-driven activities, participants won’t just look at art-- they’ll write, draw, talk about and investigate the objects around them! Through the facilitation of open-ended conversations, docents will enable students to make personal connections to art at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.

This tour is available in two iterations: Secondary Explorations-A and Secondary Explorations-B. The Tour Scheduler will determine which version of the tour you take depending on gallery availability.

Maximum Size: 120 students –Tour Scheduler with split groups over 60 between A and B versions.
