Students will discover how man relates himself to space and how artists convey this concept from as early as the 12th century. Spaces explored include heavenly, treasured, architectural and earthly. Selected paintings, sculpture, decorative arts and architecture will be included. Appropriate for grades: 5th-12th Maximum Size: 75 students School tours are FREE, one hour and 15 minutes in length and are available for grades 2-12. School groups may bring sack lunches and picnic on the grounds of the Kansas City Sculpture Park. Teachers are responsible for making alternate arrangements in inclement weather. There are limited facilities for students who are scheduled for an All-Day Visit to eat sack lunches inside the Museum.
