Students will observe varied styles and techniques in American art and gain insight into how the contemporary American experience intersected with artistic expressions. Influences considered include World War I, the Depression, and World War II. Artists studied include George Bellows, Frederic Remington and Thomas Hart Benton. Appropriate for grades: 4th-12th Maximum students: 75 School tours are FREE, one hour and 15 minutes in length and are available for grades 2-12.
