School Workshops

Pre-Visit Video:
Discover and Learn | Your Group Visit to the Nelson-Atkins

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art offers School Workshops that provide an educational extension of classroom curriculum as students learn to observe, investigate and create art.

All School Workshops combine a tour in the galleries that inspire a related art process in the Ford Learning Center. Workshops are aligned with State and National Visual Art Standards and incorporate Common Core Learning Strategies. Workshops are 60 or 90 minutes long and developed for Pre-K through 12th grade to enrich and enhance your classroom curriculum.

To learn more about the School Workshops we offer, choose from the list below.

The cost of School Workshops is $7.00 per student with a minimum of 15 students. One adult must accompany every 10 students.

Workshop registration is closed for the current school year. Registration for the 2015-16 school year will be available in August.
