New price reduction of $400.00! Sicily has an exceptionally rich cultural legacy formed by a succession of invading civilizations. In addition to some of the finest classical sites outside of Greece, we shall see marvelous Roman ruins, Greek temples, Byzantine mosaics, Norman churches and privately-owned Baroque palaces. The dramatic Sicilian scenery of seascapes from Taormina and the landscapes of the interior of the island make a memorable experience. Several private visits are included. The incomparable Susie Orso, well known to Nelson-Atkins travelers to Italy, accompanies us.
