Docent in Gallery with a Tour

Volunteers & Docents

Volunteers are a vital and valued part of The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. They greet visitors, provide hospitality in the restaurant and work behind-the-scenes in the Library and offices. They support the Museum’s mission through hands-on service and leadership roles. It’s easy to become one of the more than 500 volunteers who share their time and talent with the Museum.
