Tickets and Admission

Admission to the permanent collection and most exhibitions is free every day. There is a fee for some special exhibitions and for parking in the museum garage.

Exhibition Ticket Prices
Members and children under 12: Free
Adults: $12
Seniors over 55: $10
Students with ID: $6

Parking Prices
Parking Garage: $8 | Free for members.

Please note: refunds are not given for exhibition tickets, event tickets or memberships.


Museum curators and other staff cannot provide appraisals on the monetary value or condition of art objects.

Taking Photographs

Personal cameras and photography are allowed in the museum. Flash is allowed in the galleries but additional equipment such as tripods, monopods and the like are not permitted. Photography in special exhibitions may be restricted. Please check with museum staff for clarification.

Professional photography is not allowed inside the museum including portrait and bridal photography. You may have professional photos taken on the grounds of the museum. Please check in at our Security entrance. Please respect the sculptures by not touching or posing with them.

Commercial photoshoots may be arranged with our staff by calling 816-751-1278. Fees may be required based on the scope and if staff assistance is required.

Strollers and Bags

Bags larger than a standard backpack need to be checked into coat check. Any backpack sizes or smaller can be worn on one shoulder.

Strollers are allowed in most spaces and collection galleries. Strollers may be prohibited in some exhibitions. Please consult museum staff or call 816-751-1278 if you have a question about a specific exhibition.

For the safety of all visitors and to protect the art, children may not be carried on the back or shoulders of an adult. Child carriers that attach to the front are allowed. We greatly appreciate your cooperation.


Weddings and Receptions

Weddings are not allowed in the museum or on the museum grounds.

Wedding receptions, other private, after-hours events and non-private events such as showers or luncheons are allowed and may be set up through our Event Planning department.

Catering is arranged through Rozzelle Court Restaurant.

  • Only digital images are provided.
  • For publication, an image use fee is charged and is determined by the type and nature of the request.
  • All reproduction requests are reviewed for approval. If approval is granted, an agreement outlining the terms and conditions is provided along with an invoice.
  • Up to 2-3 weeks should be allowed for initial processing of each request. Prepayment is required.
