Membership packets take around 3 weeks to arrive. Gift memberships must be purchased by December 1 to arrive in homes before December 25. Mail will likely be delayed over the holidays. You may also purchase gift memberships in person at the museum during museum hours – 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays, & Mondays and 10 a.m.–9 p.m. on Thursdays & Fridays.
In order not to spoil the surprise, all gift memberships purchased between November 15 and December 31 will receive their welcome email on January 7, 2024.
No, gifted memberships must be paid for in full at time of purchase.
No, the 20% discount code only applies to gift membership purchases. It is not valid on renewals or new, personal memberships.
Memberships begin the day they are purchased and expire 12 months later. If you would like to purchase a membership to be redeemed later, please contact the membership team at membership@nelson-atkins.org. November gift membership purchases have the option to activated in December and expire in December 2024.
